A civillian was injured in a fresh ceasefire violationacross the Line of Control (LoC) in Mendhar sector of Poonch district of Jammuand Kashmir on Saturday.
According to reports, the injured person has been identifiedas Muhammad Rafiq (52), son of Alla Ditta, resident of Gohlad Mendhar.
Officials said that he has suffered a bullet injury in histhigh and has been shifted to a hospital for treatment.
Block Medical Officer Mendhar, Dr. Parvez Khan said thecivilian was evacuated soon after receiving the information of the incident andis undergoing treatment.
