J&K Govt appoints policeman’s widow

Jammu and Kashmir government on Friday appointed a widow of a policeman killed in the line of duty. 

As per government order, Yasmeen Kousar wife of late follower Muhammad Javid Khan of 8th battalion of Jammu Kashmir Armed Police resident of Dhargloon, Tehsil Mendhar, Poonch, was appointed in school education department, under SRO- 43.

   

The GAD order sates that she was appointed on compassionate grounds in relaxation of prescribed qualification in terms of Rule-7 of SRO-43 of 1994.

“The appointee shall report to the DSEJ within a period of 21 days from the date of issuance of this order and shall be allowed to join only on production of the documents including academic qualification certificate, age and health certificate, permanent resident certificate, dependent certificate issued by the assistant commissioner, revenue, all other relevant documents as are required under SRO-43, 1994, no objection certificate from Self Employment Scheme from DIC concerned and Employment department,” the order states.
