National Conference (NC) provincial president Devender Singh Rana, along with other party leaders, also participated in the protest and expressed solidarity with the family members of Langer.

The protesters, led by several KP organizations and forums, assembled at Exhibition Ground Jammu on Sunday and demanded that the operation of the bar in the marriage banquet hall and lodging complex should be immediately stopped. “There should be thorough investigation as to ascertain why there was no security in the campus and how the goons entered the resort and what was their motto,” they said.

A similar demonstration was also held at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi by some Delhi based KP organizations to highlight the issue.
