Jammu, Nov 26: Jammu and Kashmir Khadi and Village Industries Board Friday celebrated the ‘Constitution Day’ at JLN Udyog Bhawan, Jammu under the chairmanship of its Vice Chairperson Hina Shafi Bhat.
An official spokesman in a statement issued here said that the event started with the reading of preamble to the constitution of India by the Vice Chairperson in presence of Chief Executive Officer J&K KVIB Atul Sharma and employees of the board.
The vice chairperson remembered the Chairman of Constitution Draft Committee B R Ambedkar and his contribution in drafting the world’s largest written constitution.
CEO J&K KVIB said that the celebration of this day aimed to bring awareness about the importance of India’s constitution for running the world’s largest democratic country.
