Finance Department has extended the last date for submitting life certificates by pensioners and family pensioners till December 31, 2020.
Through a circular, the Account and Treasuries, Director General, Finance Department, Mahesh Dass has informed that most of the pensioners were not able to submit their life certificate by the cut-off date i.e. ending November due to ongoing covid19 pandemic and the vulnerability of elderly persons to covid virus.
Therefore, all the pensioners/family pensioners have been requested to furnish their life certificate to the concerned bank and treasury by or before December 31, 2020, failing which their pensions shall not be disbursed.
