LG provides Rs 1 Cr relief to young advocates

J&K government has cleared financial relief to young advocates whose livelihoods has been severely hit owing to the ongoing coronavirus lockdown.

Providing the minimumfinancial assistance to the young advocates and advocates in distress, theLieutenant Governor (LG), Girish Chandra Murmu handed over a cheque of Rs onecrore to Jawad Ahmad, Registrar General, J&K High Court, in the presence ofAbhinav Sharma, President J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu.

   

Bipul Pathak, PrincipalSecretary to the LG was also present on the occasion.

“This step of thegovernment is in continuation of the relief measures announced for varioussections of the society including registered building construction workers,MGNREGA job card holders and beneficiaries of various pensionary schemes,” saida statement.
