School Education Department on Friday ordered saturation of infrastructure facility in respect of toilets, drinking water and electricity in government schools.
A government order stated that adequate number of seats should be constructed in each toilet via-a-viz enrolment of the school. Repair of non-functional toilets be also taken up by dovetailing with available funds of Election Commission of India for the schools identified as polling stations.
For schools other than polling stations, the existing funds available with Director concerned be used for making the toilets functional.
