Poonch June 12: A minor girl died while nine others were injured after the taxi cab they were on board plunged into a gorge in border area of Sawjian in J&K’s Poonch district on Saturday.
Official sources told Greater Kashmir that the car bearing registration number JK12 1646 skidded of the road and fell into the deep forge resulting in the on spot death of the minor girl.
The nine other injured passengers were taken to a health centre in Sawjian with the help of army troopers of 40 RR where they were provided the first aid.
Later five of the grievously injured were referred to District Hospital Mandi for specialized treatment.
