MLC, ex-legislators, deputations call on Advisor Sharma

Several legislators, ex-legislators, deputations and individuals called on Advisor to Governor Kewal Kumar Sharma at civil secretariat here on Tuesday. 

MLC Randhawa took up the issues of stone crushers operating in Tawi river bed and sought their redressal.

   

Ex-MLA, Sheikh Abdul Rashid submitted memorandum of demands   pertaining to upgrading of power receiving station at Qalamabad, receiving station at Saflipora, starting work on 10 MW mini-power project at Nowgam, solar lights distribution in Langate, availability of buffer stock of transformers at Sub-division Langate and other demands.

Ex-MLA M Y Tarigami sought intervention of the Advisor in expediting work on two CRF road projects in Kulgam   connecting the major areas of the district.

The Advisor directed the concerned officers to prepare a priority list of CRF road projects in the state for follow-up. He further enquired about the power supply to the constituencies of the respective ex-MLAs.
