A Pakistani intruder was shot dead by the Border Security Force along the India-Pakistan international border in Samba sector of Jammu on Monday, officials said.
As per officials, the incident took place at around 0945 hrs when BSF troops observed a Pak intruder heading towards BS fence near BP No 64 in area of BOP Chak Faquira, Sector Samba.
Despite repeated warnings, the intruder kept moving towards BS fence and was fired upon by BSF troops, officials said adding the dead body was later recovered by the force approximately 40 metres into the Indian side of the IB.
