PDP Chief Coordinator Choudhary Abdul Hamid said today his party had sought an assurance from the Centre over holding of talks with Hurriyat and Pakistan ahead of government formation in Jammu and Kashmir.
“The foundation of PDP was laid upon the principle of restoration of peace and end of enmity between the two countries,” Hamid said at a meeting convened at the party office here.
The party, ahead of the formation of government, sought assurance from the central government over holding talks with Hurriyat and Pakistan for the timely resolution of the long pending Kashmir issue, he added.
