PDP pays tributes to Qazi Afzal

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Saturday held a condolence meeting at the party head office wherein the party leaders expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise of veteran PDP leader and former Minister Qazi Mohammad Afzal.

According to the party spokesman, PDP leaders hailed the contributions of Qazi Mohammad Afzal in the upliftment of the downtrodden and unrepresented class of the society.

   

The PDP leaders stated further that the deceased was among the most effective voices for the rights of the poor and marginalised and will be remembered for times to come.

The senior PDP leaders in the condolence meeting conveyed sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed for the peace to the departed soul.

The leaders who attended the meet were Sardar TS Bajwa, Ved Mahajan, Daman Bhasin, Thakur Fallail Singh, Surinder Choudhary, R K Bali, Satpal Singh Charak, Ramesh Koul, Surjeet Kour, Sukhwinder Singh, Varinder Singh Sonu, Sunil Bhat, FC Bhagat, Hamid Choudhary, Choudhary Hussain Ali Wafa and others.
