International Day of Forests was celebrated across all the jails of Jammu & Kashmir on the directions of DGP Prisons Dilbag Singh.
On the occasion, trees were planted by the superintendents of prisons by involving local Social Forestry Department as well as the Horticulture Department to sensitize the gathering about the values and significance of forests.
