National Conference Provincial President Devender Singh Rana on Saturday called for synergized efforts to redress grievances of the people, especially on account of public utility services.
"The challenges are manifold, especially in a constituency like Nagrota, which being so close to the winter capital is distant in terms of developmental outreach, notwithstanding cohesive efforts made a few years ago", Rana, who is also the local MLA, said at the conclusion of an eight hour long Public Grievances Redressal camp held at Dansal in Nagrota to discuss problems confronted to the people.
The camp was attended by officers of various line departments besides prominent opinion leaders of the constituency.
Rana hoped that synergized efforts and the cooperation of the people will help in generating an atmosphere wherein the time bound execution of various developmental projects and programmes becomes possible. While the people were supportive of welfare schemes in the constituency, the officers too must come forward to mitigate their difficulties. In this regard, he emphasised on massive administrative outreach to the people, saying this is imperative during the ongoing difficult phase.
