Rashtriya Bajrang Dal protests Mehbooba’s arrival in Jammu

Jammu, Nov 12: Rashtriya Bajrang Dal activists staged a protest demonstration against the arrival of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti in Jammu on Friday.

Condemning Mufti’s statements, the protesters led by the organisation’s president RakeshBajrangi shouted slogans against her arrival.

Holding black flags and placards, the protestors tried to stop Mufti but a contingent of Police did not allow them to come forward when the cavalcade of the former chief minister left the Satwari airport.

Speaking to the media, Bajrangi said that they request the J&K government and Centre not to let Mufti free.

“She should be put behind bars for extending support to pro-Pakistan elements,” he said.

Bajrangi also opposed PDP’s decision to provide legal service to the people alleged to have shouted anti-national slogans during an India-Pakistan World T20 cricket match.

Meanwhile, a senior PDP leader said that Mufti was on a five-day visit to Jammu.
