SED creates separate cadre of teacher grade-II

To streamline Samagra Shiksha ReT Cadre of teachers, Jammu and Kashmir school education department (SED) Thursday created a separate cadre of Teacher Grade-II with reference to SAC decision and previous government orders.

As per government order, a scheme of transition of Samagra Shiksha Regularized ReTs to the Teacher Grade-II has also been notified vide government order 23-Edu of 2019 dated January, 22, 2019.

   

“It is hereby ordered that pending salary of all RReTs since 1st September 2018 shall be drawn through the State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha as per existing procedure based on the last pay drawn by the concerned RReTs,” the order reads.

The salary arrears after pay fixation under 7th Pay Commission grades shall be drawn by their respective DDOs by treasury drawl immediately after their transition to Teacher Grade-II and shall be remitted directly to their bank accounts, it said.

Efforts shall be made to complete this exercise by or before 31st March, 2019.
