Two shells land near trade centre in Poonch, no casualty

Two shells firedfrom across the Line of Control (LoC) landed near the trade center in Chakan daBagh area of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday as the armies ofIndia and Pakistan targeted each other.

A senior policeofficial said that two mortar shells landed near the trade facilitation centresoon after the trucks from the other side reached there. However, there was noloss of life or the property, he said.

   

“The employees andall the people were shifted to the underground bunker built at the tradecentre,” he said.

SSP Poonch RameshAngral said two shells landed in the vicinity of the trade centre. “The peoplethere have been shifted to the underground bunker,” he said.

The armies of thetwo countries exchanged heavy fire and shelling along the Line of Control todaymorning.
