Unhappy Sukhnandan back to his voters

Unhappy at not being made a minister during the recent cabinet reshuffle, BJP legislator Sukhnandan Choudhary Sunday said his voters were more important to him than his party, a sign of his rebellion against the saffron party.

Choudhary addressed a rally in Marh of Jammu province which was also attended by BJP Member Parliament from Jammu-Poonch constituency, Jugal Kishore.

“BJP gives me mandate but people of Marh block give me votes, and for me interest of people of my constituency come before my party,” Choudhary said in his speech at the “Swabhimaan rally”.

Choudhary had skipped the swearing-in ceremony of the newly inducted ministers in April.

Echoing his unhappiness, Kishore said, “Sukhnandan deserves to be in cabinet and his supporters’ resentment is genuine.
