Unknown persons break into BOSE sub-office, ‘decamp’ with question papers

Unknown persons allegedly broke into a sub-office of J&K Board of School Education at Ramban during the previous night and "took away question papers of Class 10th annual examination."

Locals expressed surprise on how someone managed to enter the sub-office which is located near police station Ramban and official residences of police and judicial officers.

"The area happens to be busy. One wonders how someone can break into the sub-office and take away question papers," they said.

Police said it swung into action after information about the incident and have rounded up BOSE officials for questioning.

Sources told a cardboard container in which the question papers were kept is missing from the room and it is presumed it has been taken away by those who barged inside the room.

No police officer agreed to talk about the incident, but sources said the incident is being probed and FIR lodged. "A Special Investigation Team was constituted to probe the incident," they said.
