UP resident involved in cloning ATM cards arrested: Police
Jammu, Oct 29: A Uttar Pradesh resident involved in cloning Automated Teller Machine (ATM) cards was arrested and 15 ATM cards were seized from his possession in Kathua district on Friday. Police said that the UP resident involved in debit card cloning had conned hundreds of gullible persons queuing up at ATMs.
“Some unidentified persons of an inter-state gang used to have different types of ATM cards in their possession and would use them for withdrawal of cash of other persons by making them fool,” they said. Police said that a person belonging to this gang worked in the jurisdiction of Police Station Rajbagh and its adjoining areas.
