Sopore police arrested two gamblers and recovered stake money of Rs 2530 from the gambling spot, a police handout said.
Giving details, it said acting on an information, a party of police post Watergam headed by DO Watergam raided a gambling site at Chatloora Rafiabad and apprehended two gamblers (names withheld).
“Stake money of Rs 2530 was recovered from the gambling spot,” it said.
A case FIR number 01/2018 under section 13 Gambling Act registered and investigation has been taken up.
