Srinagar, Nov 9: General Officer Commanding 15 Corps, Lt General Om Prakash Friday lauded the role paramilitary CRPF played while discharging their duties.
Addressing CRPF men during a Passing Out Parade, where he was chief guest, Gen Prakash said that the role being played by CRPF throughout the country is praise worthy. "Due to secularism, transparency in duties and unbiased approach CRPF has gained the confidence and faith among the people of the country," the GOC said adding that paramilitary force is discharging its duty with responsibility
"Not only in maintaining law and order the force is also playing its role in natural calamity," he said added asked pass out to be loyal to the nation.
A number of 366 constables hailing from different States were passed out during the paraded
"You people will have to perform multifarious duties ranging from normal law and order duties to serious internal security problems like insurgency in different parts of the country," the senior Army General said while addressing the pass outs adding that oath must be respected.
On the occasion IGP Kashmir SM Sahai, senior officers of CRPF that included IG CRPF Sudhir Pratap Singh, IGP/CRPF and DIG /RTC Bhupinder Singh, were present.
