Srinagar, Oct 9: The Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front Muhammad Yasin Malik has expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Ghulam Hassan Ronga of Nawab Bazaar presently Bemina here, Dr Sheikh Bashir Ahmad, Lal Bazaar, presently Los Angeles USA and Ghulam Qadir Halwai of Budhgeer respectively.
Terming the demise of these persons as a loss for liberation movement, Yasin Malik said, "Ghulam Hassan Ronga alias Papa was a selfless well-wisher of resistance movement and JKLF. He and his family always stood at the back of resistance movement and helped the freedom struggle whenever needed. The sad demise of Ghulam Hassan who was called Papa by every JKLF member is actually a personal and organizational loss and we pray to Allah for his heavenly abode."
Yasin Malik also paid rich tributes to Dr Sheikh Bashir Ahmad who died in Los Angeles America. "From the day of his student life he had associated himself with the freedom struggle and was a well-wisher. He was always helpful and ever praying for Kashmir and Kashmiris. Today this noble soul has departed, our hearts bleed and eyes weep for the great son of soil," said a spokesman of the Front quoting Malik as saying.
Meanwhile, a delegation of Front leaders led by Yasin Malik visited the houses of deceased and expressed solidarity with their bereaved families. Another JKLF delegation visited Budhgeer here and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family of Ghulam Qadir Halwai.
