PDP brought BJP to Kashmir: Qazi Yasir

Mirwaiz South Kashmir, Qazi Yasir on Friday censured the ‘anti-national is un-Islamic’ statement of Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, saying he should look into his party’s basic communal agenda before preaching Islam to Muslims.

Mirwaiz South Kashmir, Qazi Yasir on Friday censured the 'anti-national is un-Islamic' statement of Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, saying he should look into his party's basic communal agenda before preaching Islam to Muslims.

"Gujarat anti-Muslim riots and forcible demolition of Babri Masjid are the glaring examples of BJP's communal agenda. BJP is spreading its roots in Kashmir through its stooge, PDP which supported party's communal agenda unconditionally just for the sake of grabbing chair," QaziYasir said while addressing people at Jamia Masjid in Islamabad.

Taking a dig at state government, QaziYasir said, "Government has avoided its basic duty for which it was voted to power. The roads have potholes everywhere, electricity is invisible, the flood victims have been provided no aid  and the government is confined mainly to photo shoots." He maintained that AFSPA was just an offshoot of the main problem and till the Kashmir issue is resolved, the law will remain in place in one or the other form.
