Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) has condemned the execution of Bangladesh leaders Salahuddin Quader Chowdhury and Ali Ahsan Muhammad Mujahid who were hanged in Dhaka's central jail.

In a statement, DeM general secretary Nahida Nasreen said the two leaders have achieved place of pride in this world and hereafter but the "puppet government of Bangladesh is dancing to the tunes of foreign powers and has written itself in the ranks of anti-Muslim forces."

She said the hanging of the duo will be the last nail in the coffin of Sheikh Haseena's 'tyrant' government.

Quoting the incarcerated chairperson of DeM Syeda Asiya Andrabi, she said that the participation of huge number of people in the funeral of the duo shows that large majority there still believes that "Bangladesh is East Pakistan."
