PC pays tributes to Bilal Lodhi

Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference Sunday hailed Bilal Lodhi for his contributions in a meeting held at party’s central office at Sanat Nagar here to commemorate his seventh death anniversary.

Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Conference Sunday hailed Bilal Lodhi for his contributions in a meeting held at party's central office at Sanat Nagar here to commemorate his seventh death anniversary. 

Party general secretary, Rashid Mehmood, on the occasion said, "Bilal Lodhi played historical role for restoring peace and sustained development of Jammu and Kashmir besides projecting the cause of Kashmiris at various forums, both at national as well as international level." 

Another PC leader, Dawood Lodhi stressed party workers to follow the footsteps of 'the great leader, who always believed in peace, tranquillity, and strengthening the bonds of humanity.'

"The real tributes to my father would be to work for upliftment of weaker sections of the society and help the sick and needy," Dawood maintained.

"A condolence meeting was also held at Drang Lassipora in Khag area where Irfan Mattoo, Muhammad Sulaiman Bhat (political secretary), Muhammad Kamal Malik, Muzafar Ahmad, Ehsan Ul Haq and Shafat Rasool addressed the participants," a PC spokesman said.
