The first year (FY) students who had appeared for their first semester examination held at Greenland College Hawal last month have urged the Kashmir University officials to re-conduct exam of the cancelled paper.
Several students told Greater Kashmir that after cancelling the paper due to mass copying, KU officials have not conducted fresh exams.
An aggrieved student said that KU has put all the students in the 'reappear category' without considering conducting of fresh exams.
"If some of the students were copying, why should the entire lot suffer," said another student.
Controller Examinations of KU said cancellation of the entire exam center is part of the rules.
"Greenland College would never be allocated exam center in future. Strict action against any such examination center where there has been mass copying is imminent. We cannot hold fresh exams of the students who were copying since this is against the University rule book," said the Controller Examinations.
