Hurriyat Conference (G) chairman Syed Ali Geelani today strongly condemned the arrest of youth from different villages and towns of Kashmir apart from invocation of Public Safety Act against a dozen Tehreek-e-Hurriyat (TeH) leaders and activists.

"On Saturday morning, personnel from Nowgam police station raided the residence of senior TeH leader and central office-bearer Raja Mehraj-ud-din Kalwal. The police raids on daily basis are badly affecting the mental health of his children. They feel extremely harassed," Geelani said, demanding immediate halt to this practice "which will otherwise have serious consequences".
