The final year engineering students of SSM College of Engineering and Technology ParihasporaPattan have alleged that the delay in declaration of results and conduction of exams has wasted one year of their academic career.

"We got admission in August 2011 via Common Entrance Test (CET) held by BOPEE and till March 2016 we are academically one year behind. Complaints were registered with Dean Academic Affairs, Controller (Professional) Examination and VC Kashmir University time and again but no action was taken," a group of students said.

"BE is a 4-year course and till March 2016 we have got only result of 6 semesters while as two semester exams are still pending. Our batch mates from different universities within state have completed their degrees well in time and many have secured jobs," they said and demanded timely completion of the degree.
