A residential house and a cowshed were damaged completely on Monday morning in north Kashmir's Uri town after being hit by massive landslides.
The house belonged to Sher Mohammad Gojar of Batgarh village, located close to Line of Control (LoC) in Uri. The family has shifted to a nearby village.
A cowshed in Limber area of Boniyar tehsil has been also damaged in the landslides.
"We have sent Patwari to take stock of the situation in Batgarh village and by evening we will receive the report," said Jaffar Hussain, Tehslidar Uri.
"A cowshed has been damaged in Limber village," said Showkat Ahmad Rather, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Uri.
