Saif-ul-Islam remembered on anniversary

Militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen Friday paid tributes to one of its commanders, Ghulam Hassan Khan alias Saif-ul-Islam on his 13th death anniversary.

Militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen Friday paid tributes to one of its commanders, Ghulam Hassan Khan alias Saif-ul-Islam on his 13th death anniversary.

As per Hizb statement to Srinagar-based news agency CNS, the outfit organized a programme in Muzafarabad where both militants and migrants paid rich tributes to Saif-ul-Islam. 

"Addressing the participants, Hizb chief Syed Salahuddin said Saif-ul-Islam was religious, freedom lover and a man of principles who laid his precious life for sake of Kashmir's freedom movement on 2 April 2003," a Hizb statement said, adding that Hizb vice-chairman Taj Ali Shah and Saifulllah Khalid also spoke at the function and reiterated that current struggle will be taken to its logical conclusion.
