The funeral of renowned Kashmiri leader and the supreme head of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) who passed away after a protracted illness on Tuesday would be held at Liaqat Bagh Rawalpindi at 11:00 AM tomorrow.
Khan, 86 breathed his lost in the wee hours of this morning at Hearts International Hospital where he has been admitted for last five days.
The octogenarian leader was suffering from many ailments, however, after his recent month-long tour to his native place (Gilgit Baltistan) his health further deteriorated.
He was diagnosed with severe pneumonia and lung infection by the doctors.
Asma Lone, his only daughter who arrived here two weeks back, told this scribe that "Abu (Khan) was discharged from hospital but we had to readmit him again after he had an asthma attack last week".
"Abu had never suffered respiratory disorder before, it was severe type of attack this time and he remained unconscious for several hours," she added.
