Public contact program initiated by the youth wing of Peoples Democratic Party has in south Kashmir's Pulwama district has evoked a tremendous response.
A PDP leader said that locals of Pulwama district have hailed the PDP's efforts to reduce the gap between public and politicians.
"It is not necessary that a leader should be hailing from that place where people are in misery. We have decided to become part and parcel of them by commiserating their miseries", the leader added.
He described youth as assets of the state and said that government is taking a keen interest for their engagement in sports activities, event organizing, musical concerts and many other things including those that have been successful.
"Youth PDP is fulfilling the dream of party Patron late Mufti Muhammad Sayeed by integrating economic, political and social stability of youth of Kashmir and their
priority and concerns are the aspiration of the youth. If Mufti Mohammad Sayeed had lived, this focus would have increased exponentially," the leader added.
