Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) State President Sat Sharma Saturday visited central Kashmir's Ganderbal district and assured people that promises made by the party would be fulfilled.
While addressing a gathering here Sharma said, "BJP is committed to meet the aspirations of people in the state. And for that scores of schemes have been launched to benefit the people."

"The roads are in dilapidated condition and there is no development visible on the ground. People have been left to fend for themselves," Sharma said, "The dynastic rule has only exploited the people not only in the Ganderbal, but in the entire state," he said.
Speaking on the occasion, BJP General Secretary (Org) Ashok Koul asked district administration to listen to the grievances' of the people and solve the same in a time bound manner.
Koul also appealed people not to fall to the prey to the touts, who lure gullible people for their vested interests, but asked them to remain in touch with the party leadership to solve their genuine issues.
Khalid Jehangir, BJP State Spokesperson welcomed Sharma in his hometown and apprised Sharma about the area. Khalid on the occasion said that people of Ganderbal were misled by the false promises made by politicians.
Sofi Yusuf, BJP MLC also addressed the gathering.
