Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Tuesday urged people to make the joint programme of pro-freedom leadership a success to protect "our identity and future."
He was addressing a big gathering in Singpore area of Pattan in north Kashmir's Baramulla district today.
He appealed the participants to make joint programme a success "as it is a question of our identity and future."
"We will welcome Kashmiri Pandits in their homes and we are not against any government plans to give them financial package to buy property," said Mirwaiz.
However, he said, they wouldn't allow separate townships being built for the Pandits.
While reiterating his opposition to Sainik colonies, Mirwaiz accused Peoples Democratic Party of "battering away" interests of Kashmiris.
"We will not let corporate India eat up all our resources. We will protect our resources at any cost," said Mirwaiz.
He also urged Kashmiri business houses and trading fraternity to give full support to them against the implementation of new Industrial policy.
