Chairman Jammu Kashmir National Front chairman, Nayeem Khan Sunday said people of Kashmir "appreciate role of Jammu Muslims in freedom movement."
In a statement, Kashmir said "Muslim population of Jammu region especially in Rajouri, Poonch districts is facing government wrath only for their religious ideology and commitment towards the freedom struggle."
"People of Kashmir are with their brethren of Rajouri, Poonch, Doda, Kishtwar, Bhaderwah and Gool Gulab Garh areas who are a part and parcel of the ongoing freedom struggle. Kashmiri people respect and appreciate the role of Jammu Muslims in the freedom movement," he said.
Khan condemned the 'cold blooded murder" of 11 year old boy, Nasir Shafi Qazi of New Theed Harwan.
Welcoming the resignation of Tariq Hameed Karra, he said "all the pro-India politicians must stop strengthening New Delhi's forcible control of Kashmir. It is these politicians who have time and again provided New Delhi the opportunity to brutalise the peace loving Kashmiri people."
