MLA Langate and supremo of Awami Itehad Party Er Rashid today said New Delhi should realise that "Kashmiris can't be deprived of right to self determination only for the animosity between India and Pakistan."
"Unless the Government of India will not realise the fact that Kashmiris can't be deprived of right to self determination only for the animosity between India and Pakistan, mothers will continue to receive coffins from Kanyakumari to Uri," Rashid said in a statement.
"I appeal masses in India to seek answers from Indian leadership, ultra nationalist news channels and war and hatemongers to answer that how long will mothers In India and Jammu and Kashmir continue to receive coffins of their beloved ones. Every incident is like a wake-up call to resolve dispute of J&K as per UN resolutions," he said.
Reacting to Uri attack, Er Rashid said "there is always multi-tier security cordon in and around army camps and if militants have managed to break that security barricades yet again, security agencies have lot to answer."
