Anti-movement elements trying to sabotage struggle: DPM

Democratic Political Movement (DPM) chairman Firdous Ahmad Shah today cautioned people that anti-movement elements were trying their best to sabotage the ongoing struggle and break the all parties' alliance.

"During present turmoil people of Kashmir have sacrificed their lives for achieving the goal. At present the anti-movement elements are trying to sabotage the freedom struggle and the alliance of all parties. Since 1947 the people who are against the present struggle for freedom have tried their level best to sabotage the freedom struggle and have made numerous efforts to create more and more such persons like mainstream parties and anti-freedom elements who are against the freedom struggle. Such persons include the MLAs, MLCs and ministers who are representing the puppet government by selling their conscience. But the younger generation is struggling for freedom and by the grace of Almighty they will achieve the goal. Some self-interested persons are always trying to create havoc in the general public by showing that their (youths') efforts will not yield any result. But the people are not paying any heed to such elements. They are determined to continue their struggle till the goal of freedom is completely achieved," Firdous Shah, in a statement today, said.

"The parties like RSS and their agents in Kashmir are trying very hard to sabotage the freedom struggle but have failed to do so as people of Kashmir are united in their struggle for freedom. At present our joint Hurriyat leaders should be unite and take some steps for the benefit of people and Kashmir struggle," Shah said.
