Senior leader and Provincial President of National Conference Devinder Singh Rana has congratulated Kashmir Editors Guild for electing Fayaz Ahmad Kaloo as its first President.
"He is a fearless professional journalist and Editor who has never compromised the voice of the people his paper represents because he realises that the paper belongs to the readers. Many hate him for his bold uncomfortable journalism . Many others are critical of him most of which stems out of jealousy but his readers love him and that is what counts," Rana said in a statement.
"He is a committed genuine sincere human being .He will prove to be an asset to Kashmir Editors Guild more so because the challenges before the journalists of Kashmir are manifold and typical and he has mastered the art of surmounting them," said Rana.

Chairman of Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Shabir Ahmad Shah has congratulated the Chief Editor, Greater Kashmir, Fayaz Ahmad Kaloo for being elected as the president of Kashmir Editor's Guild.
In a statement, Shah expressed hope that the representatives and members of the guild will fulfill their responsibilities by acting as spokespersons of the downtrodden people of Jammu Kashmir.
"By acting as the spokespersons of the people of the State, the newly elected president and other members of the guild can take their profession to the heights of success," Shah said.
