Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said there was no comparison between 2010 and 2016 agitations.
Speaking on the second day of budget session in Jammu and Kashmir legislative assembly, Omar said that he didn't blame Pakistan or the Opposition for 2010 unrest when he was the chief minister of the state.
The National Conference Working President said that unlike Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti he didn't blame the parents for the killing of their children.
"We can't compare 2010 situation with 2016. I never blamed my officers for 2010. In 2016, media was also attacked. Newspaper offices were raided," said Omar.
He blamed Mehbooba for failing to restore normalcy in Kashmir post the killing of July 8 killing of Burhan Wani.
"You blamed Jawahar Lal Nehru, my father, grandfather and police (for giving birth to militancy in the state). Did you ever blame yourself for your failure to restore normalcy in Kashmir?" he asked.
