Jammu Kashmir Awami Action Committee (AAC) and Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq today expressed grief and sorrow over the death of several people connected to AAC, resistance movement and the Mirwaiz family.
He condoled the demise of chairman of the Western Motor Transport Company of Nawab Bazaar, Srinagar, Muhammad Rajab Beigh, wife of late Qazi Bashir Ahmad of Umar Heir, Buchpora and wife of late Haji Ghulam Ahmad Reshi of Nishat.
On the directions of the Mirwaiz, a delegation of AAC visited Nawab Bazaar and participated in the Fateh Khawani of Muhammad Rajab Beigh and paid glowing tributes to him for his socail services and contribution to the business community and conveyed the condolence message of the Mirwaiz to his sons Parvez Ahmad Beigh and Javed Ahmad Beigh.
Meanwhile, on the death of wife of late Haji Ghulam Ahmad Reshi of Nishat, Mirwaiz expressed sympathy and solidarity with their son Muneer Ahmad Reshi and a close relative of the deceased and senior AAC leader, Muhammad Shafi Khan.
Mirwaiz visited Umar Heir and led the Nimaz-e-Jinazah of the wife of late Qazi Bashir Ahmad and offered prayers for the deceased.
