Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (R ) chief patron Barrister Abdul Majid Trambu today expressed deep concern over continuous detention of party chairman Farooq Ahmad Dar alias Bita Karete, saying "despite all these arbitrary measures, people in state will pursue their struggle till its logical end."
"State authorities are choking voices and shrinking space for peaceful political activities," a spokesman of the Front, in a statement issued here today, quoted Trambu as having said.
Hailing people in central Kashmir for poll boycott, Trambu said, "complete boycott depicts their affiliation and commitment with movement. It has served a strong message to India and its henchmen in state that they won't take people for a ride."
Appealing people in south Kashmir for complete poll boycott on April 12, Trambu said, "They should follow the trend set by people in central Kashmir." He paid rich tributes to all the youth who were slain on Sunday by the forces. He expressed his sympathy and extended condolences to bereaved families.
