Killing of protesters part of genocide plan: Nayeem Khan

Terming the killing of eight unarmed protesters in Budgam and Ganderbal districts as part of a well planned “genocide” of Kashmiri people, the Hurriyat Conference (G) senior leader and Jammu Kashmir National Front (NF) chairman Nayeem Ahmad Khan, in a statement today, today said, “complete poll boycott frustrated the Indian authorities to the extent that they directed the men in uniform to shower bullets on protesters.

Terming the killing of eight unarmed protesters in Budgam and Ganderbal districts as part of a well planned "genocide" of Kashmiri people, the Hurriyat Conference (G) senior leader and Jammu Kashmir National Front (NF) chairman Nayeem Ahmad Khan, in a statement today, today said, "complete poll boycott frustrated the Indian authorities to the extent that they directed the men in uniform to shower bullets on protesters." 

Khan, who continues to be under house detention, said, "yet another massacre of pro-freedom Kashmiris has exposed the India's sham democracy who to please their lords in New Delhi can go to any extent." Condemning the killings at the hands of the men in uniform in Budgam and Ganderbal districts as an act of "state terrorism", Khan said, "India has declared war against Kashmiri people."
