Civil Secretariat employees defer protest

The Civil Secretariat Employees Coordination Committee has decided to defer the proposed protest scheduled to be held May 8 on the first day of opening of Darbar Move here.

The Civil Secretariat Employees Coordination Committee has decided to defer the proposed protest scheduled to be held May 8 on the first day of opening of Darbar Move here.  

"The decision was taken in the aftermath of assurances and clear cut directions given by the Chief Minister, discussion of the issues in Cabinet and discussions and deliberations held by Coordination Committee with  Deputy Chief Minister and  Minister for Horticulture and Chief Secretary for resolving of all the issues put forth by the Civil Secretariat Coordination Committee  particularly cadre review for which a Committee was constituted under Chairmanship of Principal Secretary to Government Home Department for cadre review of GAD,  Planning,  Finance and Law non-gazetted cadres and  assurance given with regard to removal of Pay Anamoly and resolving of other major issues in a time bound manner," the spokesperson of the Committee said in a statement.  

The meeting Civil Secretariat Coordination Committee was held under the chairmanship of President Civil Secretariat Non-Gazetted Employees union Mr.  G.R.Mir in which the president of Civil Secretariat Lower Grade Employees Union Mr.  Maqbool Hussain was also present.
