Secretary Education and Tourism Farooq Ahmad Shah today said in order to make the cumbersome process of registration easy, the department will soonswitch over to simple online mode for online registration in 10 days.
According to statement, the Secretary assured the private school heads that government will provide level playing field for them and upgrade the quality of education at government schools too.
Shah told the meeting which was attended by Director School Education Kashmir Dr. G N Itoo and representatives of more than 50 prominent school heads including G N Var, M Showkat Chowdhary, M Y Wani (Green Valley Educational Institute) Shabir Ahmad Mir (R.P School), Prof Masood (Iqbal Memorial Institute), M Y Kuchay (JK Public School), Anaytulah Hajni (SRM Welkin School Sopore, Sajad Ahmad (Radiant School Islamabad), A.R Baba
(Salfia Educational Institutes), Dr Azmi (Falahi Aam Trust), Islamic Mission Schools, Al-asma School Budgam, Legend School, Oakhill, Kashmir Public School, Prof G.M Malik, Mubashir Wafai, Khurshid Ahmad, Jahangir (Kulgam) and others.
He said that all the issues that are acting as impediment to educational growth will be resolved on priority basis. He said that government will limit its role as a strong regulator and every genuine issue confronting private sector will be taken care of.
