A bench of Justice Ali Muhammad Magrey dismissed petitions by Dilawar Ahmad Bhat of Amargarh Sopore, Fayaz Ahmad Bhat of Ahora Payeen Kreeri Baramulla, Muhammad Syed Malik of Darpora Bomai, Baramulla, Tariq Ahmad Ganaie of Ganaie Mohalla Shopian and Tahir Hussain Mir of Dachigam, Bandipora, after hearing the parties.

"In the present case the detention order is issued on more than one ground independent of each other, therefore, the detention order does not get vitiated even if one of the grounds taken in support of the petition turns affirmative," the court said while dismissing petitions of Dilawar Ahmad Bhat and Fayaz Ahmad Bhat.

A bench of Justice Ramalingam Sudhakar dismissed petition of Sajjad Paswal of Shopian who has been also booked under PSA.
