Complete shutdown was observed in Hajin town of Bandipora district on Thursday against the killing of two LeT militants in a gunfight with forces yesterday.
Reports said that all shops and other business establishments were closed while traffic was off the roads.
Nasrullah Mir, a local resident, was killed along with his associate in a brief gunfight with forces on Wednesday morning in Rakh-i-Paribal area of Hajin. Two Air Force commandos working with army for training purposes were also killed in the gunfight.
Police has blamed the slain militants for the killing of off-duty BSF man, Muhammad Ramzan Parrey on 27th September this year.
