A complete shutdown is observed on the third consecutive day today in Tral and Aripal areas of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district against the killing of Jaish-e-Mohammad commander, Noor Mohammed Tantray.

A complete shutdown is observed on the third consecutive day today in Tral and Aripal areas of south Kashmir's Pulwama district against the killing of Jaish-e-Mohammad commander, Noor Mohammed Tantray.

All shops, business establishments, government and private offices remain closed in these areas while public transport was off the roads.

Tantray alias Noor Trali was killed and a policeman injured in a gunfight in Samboora village of Pampore township in Pulwama district on Tuesday morning.

Scores of people from different areas visited the slain militant's home at Darganaie Gund village of Aripal tehsil to offer 'Fateha' (prayers).
