Tehsil office Baramulla in mess

Tehsil office in Baramulla town is in a mess. Firstly there isn't any receipt section. Whenever any document is processed, no receipt is given to the applicant. Secondly, the applicant is made to carry his own file from one table to another table (from Patwari to Girdawar to Naib Tehsildar and so on). If the person does not follow, the same file remains on one table for months together. In some sections, Patwaris have engaged retired officials to carry out their work at their tables. This needs to be probed. The rules of the " Public Services Guarantees Act" have been shelved. Erstwhile Tehsildar had made drastic changes in the office but unfortunately he was transferred .

Chadoora demands stadium

Under Khelo India Programme sports infrastructure is being created across India. Several places have been identified in J&K as well but we are unable to understand why a beautiful "Island" of 100 kanals located at Wathoora Chadoora is not being developed as a professional stadium under the programme.

To develop Wathoora sports ground into sports stadium has been a demand of locals from past 40 years. We have been urging the authorities to construct a foot bridge to connect this Island (sports ground) with the main road (Srinagar – Charar Sharief  road ) but this issue is also not being addressed. Youth have to cross Doodh Ganga canal to reach the ground through a makeshift wooden bridge made of logs which gets washed away in summers when water level increases. We have brought the matter into notice of authorities especially district administration , local legislators and State Sports Council in the past but nobody has paid any heed towards our pleas. We appeal Sports Minister , local MLA and Secretary Sports Council to  do justice with people and address the long pending demand of youth.

Hold exams

JKSSB had advertised various district cadre posts in June 2016 under Advt No 02 of 2016.

Recently Board published schedule for conducting exams of various advertised posts but the aforesaid Advt No.02 of 2016 is missing and no update was given by the Board on same.

I request the Board to look into this matter and conduct OMR/CBT based exam for the posts of Stock Assistant to end the dilemma of candidates like me.

We the aspirants for the posts of Junior Assistants JSSRB, Kashmir Division under notification no. 02 of 2017 request to Chairman JKSSB to conduct our CBT (Stage 2nd) on the same dates as already tentatively scheduled for Jammu based candidates to save our precious time without any discrimination. As the type tests (Stage1st) were conducted for both the divisions in the same period (December-January 2017-18). There is no fun of making us wait for 4 months. We hope our request will be considered.

Let CUK come up in Ganderbal

Crores were invested to establish CUK campus at Ganderbal and till now the construction is going on  but some vested interests are putting all the efforts to shift the campus and stop the construction work. Government should ensure that CUK comes up at the designated place.

Shahpora Chadoora gets contaminated water

We the residents of Shahpora, Wathora, (Chadoora) and adjoining areas would like to draw the kind attention of the concerned authorities towards a grave problem.

We are being provided with the contaminated water to drink. Earlier we were provided ground water and now it is being supplied from Dhood Ganga river which is very polluted unhygenic and yellowish in nature.

Many residents have fallen sick. Various diseases have struck our area since the day we have started drinking this contaminated water. We therefore, request the higher authorities to look into this matter and take necessary action immediately.

Kashmiris trapped in Saudi Arabia seek help from J&K govt

I want to draw kind attention of the authorities towards aburning issue. We were recruited by a Saudi Arabia based company in Kashmir.

Since the day we have landed in the country the company seems least bothered about us. We have been kept in dingy rooms and in a very unhygenic conditions. We are made to work for 12-hours instead of 10-hours without being paid the wages for the overtime.

We have got trapped here and want to inform our brethren in Kashmir not to get trapped.

We appeal the Jammu and Kashmir government to help us so that we can come back home.

The agents in Kashmir are charging huge amounts from Kashmiri youth to get them placed in Middle East countries. They are filling their coffers at the cost of career of Kashmiri youth.

Not only us every individual working in Kudu company is suffering.

We don't have a kitchen to cook we don't have proper place for washing or bathing. Our lives have become a hell. A few people are so fed up they are trying to escape through illegal means. We hope J&K government will come for our rescue.
