Urs of Mian Abeedulah Larwi commemorated in Kangan

Scores of people on Sunday participated in annual Urs of Mian Abeedulah Larwi, the grandfather of veteran Gujjar leader Mian Bashir Ahmad. 

Mian Abeedulah's urs is celebrated in mid February every year. The urs was observed at Babanagri Kangan with religious fervor. Various Islamic scholars and religious personalities  spoke on the occasion and threw light on Islamic philosophy.

They also threw light on the history of Mian Nizam ud din Kiyanwy, Mian Abeedulah Larwy and Baba Nizamdeen Larwy. 

"In 1892, Mian Abeedulah  came to Baba Nagri from Hazara Pakistan as he was ordered by his peer murshid Hazrat Kiyany sahib (RA) of Hazara Pakistan to reach this place for Islamic preachings" Showkat Bijran, a close aid of Mian family said.
